Biography

Professor Jeng, School of Dentistry, National Taiwan University Medical College and Department of Dentistry, National Taiwan University Hospital. Ph.D in Graduate Institute of Clinical Dentistry, National Taiwan University Medical College (1994). He worked, during 1995-2015, sequentially as a lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor and professor in the National Taiwan University Dental School. Dr. Jeng is a specialist in both Endodontics and Periodontics. He got IADR Hatton Award in 1993 and IADR distinguish award of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Therapeutics in 2012, Brazil. He practiced endodontics, periodontics, and implant dentistry in the National Taiwan University Hospital since 1991 and currently is the chair in Department of Endodontics. He is also a professor, researcher and teaching staff in the National Taiwan University Dental School. His major research work involves endodontics, periodontics, implantology, as well as pharmacology, toxicology, chemical carcinogenesis and material biocompatibility. He has published many papers in scientific journals including Biomaterials, Acta Biomaterialia, J Endod, Int Endod J, J Dent Res, Carcinogenesis, J Periodontol, PLoS ONE etc. He also served as a reviewer and editorial board member of many journals .
